*Hello Everyone! How have you been doing with your blogs? I have been working hard to make my blog interesting, but I have to admit I've gotten frustrated a number of times.
*Throughout the first week of Environmental Health we've gone through what the class entails and what Environmental Health means. The syllabus introduction showed us how to achieve the grade we are striving to get. The requirements have a broad range showing us how hard we each want to work if we deserve the ultimate grade. The second day of class was very interesting as we took part in an exercise about strategies. Each student had to fit within the rope circles throughout the classroom. It was very tricky for everyone to fit as the ropes were being eliminated throughout the exercise. We all put our heads together and came up with a solution to just put our feet in the middle of the circle at the end. The exercise showed me that we are all part of the same environment and that each person makes a difference in how we keep it under control.
*Week two got a little more intense as we learned how to create our own personal blogs. By using blogs, we can communicate with other students, Dr. V, and show others who are interested in our project what we are learning. It was priceless looking at all the confused faces as Dr.V was explaining our instructions about blogging. In the end, we all know what we need to do and how to go about it. It was neat learning about all the options you can add to your blog such as exercise tips for each day, youtube videos, and pictures regarding the topics we will be discussing. I never knew blogs could be so much fun! I may be frustrated perfecting my blog now, but can't wait to see the end result.
School has been flying by this semester as I am in my junior year. I am learning so much as I am taking part in Environmental Health. I am interested in what is yet to come as we explore through the semester. I am very happy that I have taken this course and excited to see how it will play into my Community Health major.
Thank you for reading my post, and leave a comment if you'd like!
